BH Marine offers a great RYA Power boating level 1 course, taken as a stand-alone course or integrated into the two-day level course.

 

Our style is fun and informal and are big on safety. We can conduct the course on our own RIBs or on your vessel if this suits you.

 

As one of the most accessible courses, the minimum age requirement is 8 years old. Persons under the age of 16 will be provided with an endorsed certificate.

 

All our instructors have a vast working knowledge of a variety of boats sail or power. We can provide equipment check lists, and even supply you with products at discounts prices if required.

 

The course content is:

• Launch and recovery (8-11 year olds observe)

• Preparation of boat and crew

• Boat handling

• Picking up and securing to a mooring buoy

• Leaving and coming alongside

• Being towed

 

After the course, you will be able to steer a RIB or similar under supervision.
