This two-day course provides the skills required when acting as an escort craft, safety boat or coach boat for a fleet of dinghies, windsurfers or canoes, or for racing or training activities.

 

If you work at a sailing club or have training contact with small dinghies, kayaks, windsurfers or water sports, the safety boat course is a great start point to be able to work in regattas or in training facilities. Our staff are incredibly friendly and are well adapted to the needs of our locality. We often work with the sailing schools in Portland to help provide an exceptional and realistic course.

 

Course prerequisites

• Basic understanding of sailing boats and windsurfers.

• RYA Powerboat Level 2 Powerboat Handling certificate.

What you will be able to do:
