This RYA sailing entry level course will allow you to get your hands wet for the first time on board.  It is a great starter for anyone who has potentially sailed dingoes and wishes to go bigger, or for those who are fresh novices who have a passion for the sea.  Whatever your calling, BH Marine's passionate staff will introduce you to the world and freedom of the seas.

 

On this course you will learn:

• The basic fundamentals of how to steer a yacht under power.

• How to raise the sails and handle ropes to get the most out of your yacht.

• The basic aspects of safety on board and will give a practical demonstration and instruction of a man overboard manoeuvre.

• How to slip and come alongside a mooring safely including safe lines.

• Basic sail theory - How does wind even make boats move?
