Held at the Fireaid centre, delegates will receive the knowledge and understanding of first aid techniques with the use of practical training sessions and presentations to update their STCW or for other professional uses.

 

Students participating in this course will complete a programme of training that meets the requirements laid down in Regulation VI/1, paragraph 1 and Section A-VI/1, paragraph 2.1.3 of the STCW Convention and Code 1978, as amended.

 

Students will receive the knowledge and understanding of first aid techniques to enable them to act appropriately in the case of a medical emergency on board.

 

Training will be conducted through practical training sessions and presentations.
